Success

When I think success

I see it comes

When i dream success

I see it comes

When i touch success

It fates away

Success success

My hope

I'll find success

Embrace success

When i hold success

I'll keep it save

When I have success

I'll share it

Success success

My world

I'll rule

Yes, I'll influence

Thought, Oh thought

My Success Success

I'll keep,

I see

Success a life

Success my hope

Success my world

The Night's Rain

One moonlit night,
Clouds played,
Hide and seek,
With the moon,
Around her face.
And it rained outside,
Within the trees,
Where we stood,
After running again,
Hands in hands.
Lost in the forest,
In the rain,
Where there was fire -
That never spreads-
To burn the leaves,
But to sooth the souls.
With the warmth of love.
Wind was silent,
So do the birds,
Silent were the tree leaves,
All were hearing -
The dripping water
In the pond, falling drops -
From the pine grooves.
But in the thunders,
All the sound seemed lost,
somewhere in darkness,
And we felt our entity,
Hands held together.

Shahar Ki Yaadein

रस्ते पर फिर भीड़ हो आई,
छुट्टियों से लौट के यादें शहर को आई ।
बीत गया सावन अब तो ;

Religion

The question is “Are you allowed to change your faith?”
In usual scenarios, we would not need such a law but times are different and everyone wants to swell the numbers of the fellow religion population.
We need to think beyond Anti Conversion law because:
I am not against religion but history has proved, too much religion interference in running a country has always been a failure. We have live examples of Pakistan, Iran, etc where the law of land is too much dependent on religion and its guidance.
I don’t need to go into details of what these countries have ended being.India has a complex equation of religions.
Despite being a hindu dominated country, we are one of those rare third world countries to take pride in allowing all religions to live under a single roof in harmony. You do not become a secondary citizen for belonging to a particular religion. And we have never had laws, which involve too much RELIGION.
Then why so much hype about “Anti Conversion Law”?
India has always been a country built on tolerance and respect for other religions and a step like anti conversion law will take away a very fundamental right. i.e, the right to change my religion.
Religion is a very personal subject for me and I believe, my choice of a religion should be mine. No one likes to be at mercy of others for anything, least of all religion.
What if I do not like my religion? What if I do not get a fair treatment in my religion and what if, I am born a scheduled cast in my religion and would like to shift to a religion, where all are viewed as equals?I would hate to see police standing outside my home instructing me to not to change my religion. The law of land does not permit this.
How gross is this?
The concept of Anti Conversion law will not only increase riots but will shift the focus of our governments from the progressive work they “should do” to managing religions. Not an easy task, when your country has thousands of millions of people practicing 100 of faiths.
Does government have the capacity to allocate a chunk of a depleted police force and overburdened judiciary to handle cases related to Anti Conversion religion? This law will place a weapon at their disposal that can be used at their convenience.
Last but not the least, you do not want to create a No Man’s Land for those, who opt for inter-religion weddings because this would be the next agenda for our beloved leaders. They are waiting for an opportunity to dictate a policy on Why, How and What of Weddings.
The only positive I can see of this policy is for kids born out of inter religion weddings. As they will be lured with incentives to join a religion of any of the parent. This time the funding will be done by religion.
Not bad for the new generation... Right?
Before I end this article, a little food of thought for our mighty leaders. No one wants to convert their religion. It’s your deep routed discrimination based on cast and creed, which forces people to convert their religion.
How about you focus your energy on providing livelihood to poor or introspecting the root cause of so many conversions happening in your religion. The day to day fight is too much of a task for them to think about Religion.

A Black Coffee Date

"There is a tide in the affairs of men which taken at flood leads on to fortune, omitted all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries".... On such a tide was this guy afloat  and made good use of it but still lost his venture!

A handsome guy, a beautiful girl, a deserted coffee shop, a perfect setting. The guy came first walked up to the counter and asked me what all would be available from the menu as it was only 10 AM. I told him all that was available but then he insisted on Croissants. I told him they would be ready in another half an hour.

He was anxious, cracking his knuckles, looking at his phone and watch repeatedly to make sure he was on time. His phone rang and he replied "she could be here any moment, she should be in a yellow top".  He kept peeking from the window from all sides restlessly.

A few minutes later a beautiful girl in a yellow top entered from the main door and scanned the place for that one most important person she was here to meet. Our guy hesitated at first but then went on to introduce himself and it turned out she was the one he has been waiting for. They occupied the corner most booth and got comfortable. Black Coffee was ordered and as i went to their booth with their order i noticed the girl.

She had petite features, with the saccharine sweet lips and the midnight black hair that flowed over her shoulder she was a natural beauty...the kind you get without makeup. They giggled, laughed, smiled  and paid attention to what each of them had to tell about themselves. It was clear that this was their first date.I wish they had ordered Latte, i would have made a beautiful heart on their coffee. But it was not required as it seemed they had already fell for each other.

Soon their Croissants were ready and as i moved towards their booth i saw that our hero went down on his knees held her hand lightly like a gentleman and bent forward to place a kiss on those slender hands. The girl blushed, her cheeks turned rosy pink and her nebulous eyes glowed with love. As he planted the kiss the expression on her face changed as if something bothered her. She withdrew her hand still smiling and looked at him. I placed the croissants on the table and walked away when i heard her saying "Dude, i can see you were in such a hurry to see me that you could not catch all the hair from your mustache when you shaved, i just felt them" and she giggled.

Oooooh....what the hell .....

The dude was suddenly taken aback. Maybe he felt that she mocked him, his confidence had dwindled and finding his macho image and gentlemanly manners in jeopardy out came from his mouth the following words:

"You know it is that salon boy's mistake. In-fact it is the salon owner's mistake, they gave me a newcomer... my regular guy would not have done it like that. I pay them such a lot of money and i am a regular customer moreover i also always leave them tips. I think i will stop going to that salon forever."

The girl listened in shock and the smile faded from her face slowly. There was silence an oddly long one and then she smiled again, got up excusing herself for washroom. She walked towards me quietly handed over her card and asked me to swipe it for the bill. I did that with shaky hands. She went back to him whispered something in the ear and walked out of that door at lightning speed. Me and my fellow workers stood their dumbstruck and we saw the guy still sitting on the sofa with both his hands on his head, with a red face and red eyes. He got up and walked out without looking at any of us.

What the girl had whispered to him is anybody's guess. But that was clearly the lamest excuse ever, one that revealed a lot about his nature, and one that he was about to repent for the rest of his life. A lot could have happened over a cup of coffee! It could have turned into so much more, a friendship, a relationship, may be a lasting one, or something more like marriage, but none of that happened. Grabbing an opportunity is important but doing it right by paying attention to detail is even more important.

The detail that was ignored here was the proper shave. The improper one cost this guy his love. If he had used a Gillette product he could have been in a different situation today.
